Ramsey Subaru is proud to partner with WHO-TV and the
Des Moines Area Religious Council's Emergency Food Pantry to
promote the "Drive to Intercept Hunger"
campaign.
Each Friday night at a Central Iowa high school football game, WHO-TV
will be live encouraging fans to stop by the Channel 13 tent and donate food
items to the cause. All donated food items are then placed in the tailgate of
one of Ramsey's vehicles - a Subaru, Mazda, Buick, Pontiac or GMC. After the
game, the food is transported via our Ramsey vehicle to the Emergency Food
Pantry where it is appropriately distributed.
The Des Moines Area Religious Council's Emergency Food Pantry is
committed to providing food at no cost; they rely solely on support from
generous contributors. Financial contributions are used to buy food wholesale
while donated food items are sorted, repackaged and then given to the pantry
sites. The following are some of the items especially needed:
-
canned soups; canned meals (chili, stew, Chef Boyardee
etc.)
-
canned fruit; canned vegetables and beans
-
cereal
-

Please support our mutual effort to Intercept Hunger - * attend an
