Subaru's next electric chapter is approaching as the upcoming Subaru Uncharted prepares its debut. This all-electric subcompact crossover blends comfortable accommodations and everyday utility with the confidence Subaru drivers expect. The uncharted slots beneath the compact Solterra, providing ample interior space and smart tech in a city-friendly footprint. When the all-new Subaru Uncharted arrives in Iowa in early 2026, shoppers from West Des Moines to Ames will be able to find it here at Ramsey Subaru in Urbandale.
Power, Range, and Performance
The Uncharted lineup offers two distinct personalities. The performance-focused Sport and GT trims use a dual-motor arrangement that generates 338 horsepower and provides an estimated 290 miles of range. Plus, thanks to the EV-tuned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and dual-function X-MODE® systems, drivers will enjoy confident handling and surefooted control in various conditions.
The efficiency- and value-focused Uncharted Premium utilizes a front-wheel-drive setup that generates 221 horsepower and delivers more than 300 miles of range per charge. DC fast-charging capability allows the Uncharted to replenish its battery from 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes at a compatible station, helping you top up quickly and get back on the road, even in colder temperatures.
Small Size, Big Capability
Though more compact than the Solterra, the Uncharted prioritizes usability with greater cargo space behind the rear seats and a Crosstrek-like turning radius that's well-suited to navigating busy streets and crowded parking lots. A balanced chassis, purposeful suspension tuning, and a floor-mounted battery contribute to composed handling without compromising ride comfort.
Unique LED lighting, available two-tone paint, and an illuminated six-star badge give the Uncharted a distinctive exterior aesthetic. Plus, low-profile roof rails on AWD models provide more utility for carrying bikes, boards, kayaks, or camping equipment.

Inside, the Uncharted pairs a clean cabin design with durable, sustainable materials and ample accommodations for both front and rear passengers.
